Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique style of rapping. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on the 22nd of April, 1990 into a German as well as an English Scottish family. As a child Baker, he spent a good deal of time traveling along with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Following that Baker along with his father moved to Denver in the area where they stayed with his aunt, who was his father's. Baker had to endure bullying from fellow youngsters because of his poor status. He began listening to rap at the age of the sixth year. Colson Baker, also known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. The songs he composed are known to fuse contemporary hip-hop and rock music with alternative rock. Baker produced four mixtapes before signing with Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered songs at the speed of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosion of popularity when at the end of 2011, Baker made the switch from self-released tracks to well-known labels. In the following years, each album of his charted at number 10.
